ML570 - Windows 2003 crashes after install

Hello.
I've bought an used ML570 server with 4 P3 X 700 procesors and 2GB of RAM. I have installed Win 2003 Server. The installation process passed without any problems. After a reboot, the Win 2003 logo with loading bar has appeared and moment later monitor showed "Out of range". After the next reboot system hangs before the logo with a blinkung cursor in a corner.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

PS: I have 2 monitor outputs - One on the board with LPT, keyboard connector etc, and one on the pci board with ethernet connector. Only the second one shows an image. What is the second connector for?

I have startded Windows in VGA mode and it works, but i cannot install the display driver - HP ati rage installer says that there's no hardware.
I also cannot instal the ethernet driver becouse Windows cannot found the card.

question did you use the assisted installation? I mean using Smartstart CD? or you just used windows CD?}


please the generation for this server g1 or G2?...

SmartStart 5.5 has no pofile for windows 2003, so i chose "Win 2000" or "Other" (can't remember, but propably 2k) and restrarted server after System Config Utility and inserted a Win2003 CD.

In device manager there are 2 ATI Rage Cards - one "ok" and one with "!" icon. The graphic interface still works like without driver - sloooow ;].
