ML570 with UnixWare 7.1 + DAT24x6e

I would like to install a HP SureStore DAT 24x6i into a Proliant ML570 with UnixWare 7.1.1. I tried with different configuration and latest drivers (EFS ver. 7.56a) but the dat isn't recognized from system. The unit is attached controller Compaq Wide-Ultra SCSI and is functionally if I use the DAT with another server/O.S. (e.g. Win2K).
What do I make wrong?
Can you further help me there?

please confirm: this autoloader works with THIS server with THIS SCSI adapter under Windows 2000, doesn't it?
DAT24x6 is single ended unit, and the best to use is AHA-2940UW adapter, see http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg50063.html (DAT24 section). If you are not able to change adapter unit connected to, then try digging into SCSI card's bios and change parameters like wide support, etc. In addition, if there're LVD disks are on the same bus with autoloader then whole bus becomes SE and perfomance will degrade

Thank's a lot Eugeny,

but I tried to install, with same system and same hw configuration, loading Suse Linux and the HP Dat was functionally.
There isn't other unit attached to this host adapter, because the O.S. is loaded into some disk with 2 types of raid (0+5), using host adapter Compaq Smart Array 5300.
