I'm trying to confugre mail alert in 

MR Storage Administrator

- v008.006.018.000

But It shows only error 9100

Is there a log where to get more info?

In config form option for TSL/SSL is grey and not activable.

Does anyone have experience in this trouble?

MY QUESTION IS REGARDING TO THE SMTP SETTING , THERE ARE TWO SETTING THA ARE GREY NOT SELECTABLE TO CHANGE LIKE SSL/TLS IS NOT SELECTABLE.

I READ MANUAL PAGES WHERE SETTING ARE EXPLAINED, BUT IT SEEMS THAT THE SCREENSHOT EXPOSED IN THE MANUAL ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST MR VERSION.

The post you menioned is regarding an older version: "CP050676 and downgraded from the v8.4.16.0 "

My installation is version 8.6.18.0

Hi,

The error code 9100 seems to be configuration related, not specifically related to controller or software, here is a post from Intel.

Thanks but, it's a shame that SMTP server service seems to be deprecated in windows server 2022

Unfortunately that seems to be the case here. Suman has shared exact document of why this is occuring. However if considering the purpose is to receive emails for any error alert then you can configure email alert option from ILO. Since ILO works outside of Windows then this seems to be a workaround given the purpose is to receive email alerts.
