Re: MSA P2000 & Proliant DL380 - iSCSI can't connect / ping
Hi
My first post on this forum so Hi everyone.
I've got a similar issue to this with a P2000 iSCSI SAN. I have connected all the ports and the two management interfaces. I can get to the management interfaces. All the iSCSI ports are addressed and connected. I can ping everything from other devices on my network but I can't get an iSCSI initiator to connect to the SAN at all.
It's my first attempt at configuration so I've most likely missed a point, I can't actually determine what I'm supposed to point the iSCSI initiator at, should it be one of the iSCSI IP's or the management controller.
I've tried both and get a "fail to connect" in 2008 r2.
Anyone tell me what noob mistake I made?
Toad.
