My proliant DL380 G2 with emulex LP7000 card reboot unexpectly. please help !
Hi All.
I have got proliant DL380 G2 with an emulex LP 7000 card and reboot unexpectly.
Compaq service people have changed almost all the computer pieces, so machine keep on rebooting.
The survey.txt file do not show nothing.
Has anybody any idea about this configuration ?
Can be the problem on emulex card driver ?.
Thanks in advance.
Juanma.

I would try taking the emulex board out and see if the problem stops. I had a rouge nic in one of my servers that was causing me headaches.

Hi,
it seems to be an problem of all emulex cards in HP Proliants 380. I have the same problem with a LP 9002 card. HP technicans have installed first the emulex drivers, than their own drivers but it does not fix the problem. The server still reboots. Now we will change the emulex card to a HP supported FC Card. I don't know what kind of card in the moment, but I will give you any information I will have, when the new card is implemented and the problems will be fixed. Than, HP can no longer say, that they do not support emulex cards with HP Proliants 380 :-)
