We are experiencing an issue with NC7131 under NT4. It's not being recognized while doing the assisted installation.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Solution
Hello Ron,
I believe you'r running Smart Start 5.3 CD. Could you please confirm this. If that's the case then do the following during the phase of the installation when network adapters are detected:
1. Choose the "Start Search" button. (The NC7131 will not display as an available
adapter.)
2. Choose the "Select From List......." button. The "Select Network Adapter" window will open.
3. Scroll down and highlight the "Compaq Gigabit NIC or Module."
4. Choose the "OK" button. The "Select Network Adapter" window will close, and the
"Compaq Gigabit NIC or Module" will now display under the list of available
adapters to install.
5. Place a check mark next to the "Compaq Gigabit NIC or Module" and choose the "Next" button.
6. Continue the installation process as usual.
Regards,

Re: NC7131 ISSUE
Sunil,
You were right on the mark. I am very very impressed the way these forum replies are handled. It's so efficient. I was able to install the NIC properly by following your instructions.
Thanks so much.
Ron
