SolutionCorrect all you need to do is pop the second psu in the server and thats it nothing else needs to be configured on the server for this.
You won't need to plan downtime or anything for the above.
As for the part number
Hot Plug AC Redundant Power Supply Module (NEMA and IEC cord)
(NA and Japan) 355892-001
Hot Plug AC Redundant Power Supply Module (IEC cord only) (WW) 355892-B21
Depending on your location

Re: Need additional DL380 G4 Hot Swap Power Supply
If you just want to buy the redundant PSU as a spare part, rather than as an option it's HP Spare Part number is 338022-001.
The only difference is that you get a mains cable with the option part and it's usually quite a bit more expensive.
Normal sources for this are:-
HP Partsurfer
http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=partinfo&template=main&cpric=us&psrchmode=&partsrch=338022-001
Or Ebay
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=338022-001&category0=
I hope this helps.

Re: Need additional DL380 G4 Hot Swap Power Supply
The Ebay link may be bad.
Just go to www.ebay.com and enter 338022-001 as your search entry.

Brian
