Need help with M.2 storage

Hi, so ideally I am waiting to buy 4 x 4 TB M.2 Drives but can not seem to find a riser that supports four drives. The drives I want are 14GB/s throughput. I found a 3rd party PCI-E adapter and was wondering if it would be compatible? Or is there an HPE Riser or PCI card that supports higher rates throughput?

I guess instead of me feeding what I want…. Essentially I have 4 x 4 TB 14GB/s M.2 drives… what’s my best option to utilize them in 1 server at my fastest possible speed?

Good day.

HPE does not have official risers or PCIe cards supporting 4 high-speed M.2 drives out of the box, but you can leverage existing technologies:

HPE Smart Array Controllers- HPE provides NVMe RAID adapters such as the HPE Smart Array P-series controllers, which can manage multiple NVMe drives. However, these are usually optimized for U.2/U.3 drives, so compatibility may require specific carriers.

HPE Riser Options- Some HPE riser cards for ProLiant or Apollo servers allow multiple PCIe adapters, but they are designed for U.2/U.3 drives rather than M.2.

Confirm your server model has sufficient PCIe bandwidth and lanes to accommodate the M.2 adapter. For example: HPE Gen10 or Gen11 servers with PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 will provide better throughput.

Some adapters or interposers can convert M.2 drives to U.2/U.3 form factors, which are better supported by enterprise-grade HPE Smart Array controllers or storage backplanes

I hope this gives you some insights. Let me know
