netbios disabled
i have a proliant dl360 server. win 2003 sp1
server is our main DC controler.
all was running great.
yesterday i upgraded the Hp team driver from MS, now the server can not see the network.. all settings are ok.. This morning i downloaded from HP the nic nc7X driver (8.48) and the team (8.20) driver. I go to dos and do an ipconfig.. i get a netbios over tcpip -- disabled. I go into the tcpip advanced props and bullet "enable netbios over tcpip" on the team nic... no luck .. still says disabled. i disolved the team .. disabled one of the nic's and enabled netbios on that nic.. still says enabled.. ummm is there a reg setting... needless to say others services are in trouble.. and i cant see the network,, help !!!!!.

Re: netbios disabled
Try to reset ip-stack:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
After running the ip reset, make sure to configure your ip-settings before rebooting.
Regards,
Matthijs
