Network driver issue??
I am having a problem with my COMPAQ servers. I have installed RH7.2 and 7.3 on two separate servers and have an issue with network tools (like dig and traceroute) that use the UDP protocol. I have several other RH 7.2 and 7.3 installs on non-COMPAQ systems that do not exhibit this issue.
All systems reside on the same subnet and exit through the same firewall.
If I use the -L option on traceroute I get the expected results. Examples below.
Anuone else have this problem or a solution to it?
VV
Failed traceroute example (a normal trace takes 15 hops):
traceroute to rdrop.com (199.26.172.34), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
1 fw (192.168.111.1) 4.686 ms 3.159 ms 2.436 ms
