New Debian installation unable to boot on DL580 G9

I am trying to install Debian on DL580 G9 but I am unable to boot to debian after installation completes.

I have and SSD on storage port 1 and configured the smart array controller P830i in HBA mode. Debian installer runs from a USB stick, detects the SSD and completes instalation without any issues. Then, after requesting a system restart I get the error message:

" No bootable devices detected.
Please attach a UEFI bootable device.
System will automatically retry UEFI Boot order in 2 seconds. "

Is there anything that I can do to make debian boot?

Re: New Debian installation unable to boot on DL580 G9

Hi,

The error message is discussed in the below document, but not for your product.
Server May Not Boot and a "No Bootable Devices Were Detected. Please Attach a UEFI Bootable Device." Error Message Will Be Displayed

Please check the resolution section in the document, in your case, please remove he USB stick when the server reboots.

Thank You!
