New ML350 G6: P410i upgrade options
Just about to purchase a new ML350 G6, Mfr#:487930-031
It comes with "Storage Controller HP Smart Array P410i/256MB Controller". Would like to upgrade the cache to battery-backed cache to get write caching working (correct me if that is a misunderstanding). Can some confirm that I need this part:
HP Smart Array P410/P411 512MB BBWC Module Upgrade Mfr#:462967-B21
There seem to be loads of cache options including flash backed memory. Can anyone advise or point me to a document that explains these options and how to choose?
Thanks in anticipation.

It's got two chances - it will either work or it won't!

Re: New ML350 G6: P410i upgrade options
Yes that's the right part. You will remove the existing 256MB memory and install the 512MB memory and the battery module. There is only one slot for the P410i cache memory on the motherboard.
