NIC - System Log Fills with Drive Array Errors

I have just installed NT and the System Log keeps filling up with NIC errors. I'm running 2 * 10/100 NICs as a team. The error message states:
Component: Compaq NIC Agent Error: Unable to open the registry subkey "CPQNIC\Ethernet\Statistics"....

These errors occur every 2 minutes and start about 20 minutes after the server has been rebooted.

Thanks In Advance for any help on this.

Re: NIC - System Log Fills with Drive Array Errors

Hi John & Compaq,

I am getting the same message in my event viewer after the install of 2* ML370's & 2*ML570's with the 10/100 Nic's running as a team and I wondering if you got a fix for this issue.

Thanks

Kevin.

Re: NIC - System Log Fills with Drive Array Errors

Uninstall agents (may have to use Cleanup Utility), remove SNMP, re-install SNMP, re-apply NT Service Pack, do not reboot, reapply latest SSD, reboot, reinstall agents.

Alternate: Stop SNMP related services, use Management CD Custom Install to uninstall only the NIC agent, reboot, stop services once more, use Management CD Custom Install to install NIC agent, reboot. This will recreate the Registry key.
