Nic Team restrictions

Hi,
I have several DL360s with Nic Teaming enabled in ALB mode. Currently all servers/nics are connected to the same Cisco switch. I would like to have more resilience at the switch end. Is it permissible to connect nics on the same server to more than one switch. The switched would be on the same IP subnet and connected to the same backbone core switch.
