NIC teaming and Cisco switches
Ok, once and for all, what is the best method for setting up a NIC team utilizing Cisco switches (3750G in my situation). I understand creating an EtherChannel for two or more ports, but what load balancing method should be set on the switch (source-mac, dest-mac, source/dest-mac, etc...). Then on the HP team, I know SLB for the team type but what about transmit load balancing method? I have the intelligent networking pack if that affords me something better to do than default; however, I only have two nics per server and all going to 1 switch stack. My goal is like most, to get the greatest throughput while getting some fail on fault advantages.
