NIC Teaming with Lotus Domino
We have 2 Server running W2K SP3 with a Compaq NC3131 Fast Ethernet NIC build in. We use the both 100/Mbits ports (no GBIC Module on it) and running the 6.10 Smartstart drivers for all components.
This 2 Ports are teamed for fault tolerance.
On this 2 Server Lotus Domino 5.0.11 is running and the nic teaming hangs when switch from one port to another (tested by running diag and tested by remove the cable from port 1). When we stop the Domino Service, the fault tolerance switching by diag or removing cables is running fine.
Anyone have the same problems with domino. Does CPQ support the Teaming on a server running this version of domino.
I beware now to setup all the CPQ Servers for teaming running Domino on top.
