NIC Teaming

So I have an older DL360 that we need to retire and are moving it to a new server. The new server has 4 nics that we will team together and the old server has two.

 

we have about 1.8TB to move between the two in a very short time. If we add two more nics to the old server we should be able to get about 4Gb/sec out of this.

 

Now would we plug each nic into a seperate switch so switch one would have a connection from server 1 and 2 etc etc. or can all 8 ports go into one switch.

 

Also what settings would I set for the nic team right now it is set to Automatic.
