No bootable filename recieved - Ubuntu Server - ProLiant ml310 G8

Hi,

I just "installed" ubuntu-12.04-server-amd64 from a CD-ROM, I didn't use intelligent provisioning and didnt configure or set-up any RAID.

I just inserted the CD and follow the steps from the Ubuntu installer, it seemed like all was correct and give me last message "The installation is succesfull ....reboot... etc ", I did it but when it runs again and it says "No bootable filename recieved"

Thanks for the attention paid.

-Sorry about my english-

Hi,

Is this the error thats coming up?

"PXE-E53: No boot filename received"

If YES, then check if you have set the boot order correctly in BIOS.

Make sure the correct smart array controller and hard drive is set to boot.

Also disable PXE boot if possible.

Thank You!
