I have 5 servers for teaching/training purposes. We trying to do a clean install of Windows Server 2008, I get the message No drives found. There was already a logical drive created in provisioning from the last install. However, I went in and deleted out the drive and created a new drive since it wasn't working. Still the same issue. What is going on? I also downloaded the hard drive controller, but the server didn't recognize the drivers on my flash drive. Anyone know what is going on here? I really thought my headaches from last year were over....
B320i raid controller & hp intel e1r driver are the two drivers I downloaded. I thought the Provisioning section of the HP software was supposed to have all the drivers. Why isn't it pulling drivers from there.
Thanks in advance to any help you can give.

Re: No drive found on reinstall of Windows Server 2008 Prolient DL360e Gen8 Server
Hi,
did you tried with this driver: cp022623.exe ? ( http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=5293148&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3Didx%253D%257CswItem%253DMTX_eda3174dd7e749a797bb87c77d%257CswEnvOID%253D4064%257CitemLocale%253D%257CswLang%253D%257Cmode%253D%257Caction%253DdriverDocument&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vig... )
Open this file cp022623.exe and click in Extract to a pen drive USB, after this make the boot with Windows Server 2008 CD , then click in load driver and choose the USB pen drive

Yes, doesn't recognize the drive on my flash drive, even after I extract the driver. Installing Windows 2008 r2. Not sure if that matters at all.

SolutionOk, figured it out. Was using a flash drive for the driver and the flash drive must have been corrupted. Reformatted the flash drive and reloaded and extracted the driver. Worked like a charm.
