No hard disk found
Hi,
I trie to install suse enterprise 9 on a proliant ml110 G3 server with SATA disk 80G.
I launch installation but no hard drive found by system.
I can see the disk on the bios.
I load the module :
adpahci.v1.19.V414A19.V041A7.sles9.x86_64.img
aarich-6.00.075-1.sles9x86_64.x86_64.img
but it is not work...
I have the good modules ??

I have the same problem. I got the system installed by swithing the IDE setting in BIOS to "Compatible" and SATA primary, PATA Secondary. During installation screen I had to select safe mode. Otherwise the machine would crash during the formatting.
The problem for me now is that I have a second disk and RAID capability that i cannot use and I'm pretty much stuck in safe mode for now. I've also tried the module "aacraid-driverdisk-sles9.img" from the Adaptech Site. That didn't do much.
Hope someone can help.

I just gave up sles9 all together. Tried out Fedora Core 4 instead and had no problems with hardware. Note that I never tried sles9 sp2. Perhaps that would have had no problems either. Post a mesg here if you try it and let me know how it worked.
