I bought a Compaq Prosignia PIII 500 with 128 MB & 13.5 HD at a DOT COM liquidation auction. It has NT Workstation 4.0 and no password. Now what?
Do I have to take it apart, pay some license fee, or, how can I disable and load win 98?
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Are you talking about the BIOS power-on password or the NT 4.0 administrator login password. Please provide the 12 character serial number that is on the back or side of the unit. Then we can verify your exact hardware configuration.
