Hi,
When I try to install a new Netware ver.4.11 server, I cannot load the correct driver for the array card and the SCSI Hard disk. I have download the new support software (6.10), it is still not work. How can I finish to install this Netware ver 4.11 ?
Thank you
Best Regards
Jack

Re: Novell SCSI driver
I am having the exact same problem, and it is driving me crazy. No amount of shuffling or driver updates has helped. Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated!! I am running the Smart Array 431 card.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Re: Novell SCSI driver
We are still in the process of loading Netware 4.11, but this seems to be working.
Make the c:\nwupdate folder off of the latest smartstart cd.
Start the novell install off your 4.11 cd.
After selecting english, etc. toggle to the console screen and load nwpa.nlm from the c:\nwupdate directory
This version allows you to load the cpqraid driver which allows you to continue the install.
Good luck,
Chris Maloney

Re: Novell SCSI driver
The previous method I spoke of, using the later version of nwpa.nlm, worked like a charm. Please note though, after the installation process, make sure you copy the later nwpa.nlm into the nwserver directory, otherwise, when you reboot, the Novell will try to start using the old nwpa.nlm and will fail. If this happens, just copy the new one into nwserver.
Good Luck,
Chris Maloney
