Obtain ILO2 configuration using WMI
Hello,
I've installed the HP WBEM providers from here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01382288/c01382288.pdf
However using the scripting info from the document I can't seem to get any object returned by this command:
gwmi -computer -Namespace root\hpq -class HP_ManagementProcessor
I get blank output. I'm running this under Windows 2008 SP2.
I've also tried running the command remotely, same issue.
Could anyone help me find the configuration using iLO2?
At this point I'm interested in grabbing the IP configuration of each ILO2 Controller.

Re: Obtain ILO2 configuration using WMI
i havent try your way but to get ILO config you can install the ILO online configuration utility and then export the ouputs from there, it will give you the full config.
give it a try.

Re: Obtain ILO2 configuration using WMI
you can use the hponcfg.exe utility
hponcfg.exe -w file.out
then parse file.out for the IP ADDRESS
