On Board NIC?

The on board NIC on this server has never worked! We are not sure what kind of driver it even needs since the SSD software does not even see an onboard NIC! The Bios also fails in recognizing the ""Correct NIC" and that is not exclusive to this server. IS there a way to address this?

The unit comes standard with the integrated Netflex-L Ether net Controller. The latest BOOS for the server is dated 8/17/98. If BOOS is not up to date. If any other NC's have be added to server, please remove and run the latest COMPAQ System Configuration Utility. If NC is detected, run the Server Diagnostic Utility and see if any errors are reported. Call Compaq with any errors found concerning the NC.
