OS migration from DL308 to DL140
Hello, I have 2 HP Proliant servers:
DL380 G5 with integrated P400 controller
and DL140 G3 with installed P600 controller and MSA50 storage attached to it.
I had to move my OS (win2003) from DL380 (2 SAS 146Gb, RAID-1) to DL140.
Idle time must be minimized.
I inserted 2 the same SAS disks to MSA30 attached to DL140 and built raid-1 there.
After that I powered it off, removed 2 disks and inserted 1 disk from working raid-1 from DL380.
Now DL140 start OS correctly, but when I insert 2-nd disk to it's raid-1 it's switching to rebuilding.
How can I change my OS drive type to RAID-1?
Now I have error in ACU:
"The current array controller has a bad or missing physical drive attached to Port 2I : Box 1 : Bay 1.
To correct this problem, check the data and power connections to the physical drive.
For more information, run the Array Diagnostics Utility. "
And ACU shows separate disk: "Port 1E : Box 1 : Bay 1, External "
And I want to have my system installed to RAID-1

Re: OS migration from DL308 to DL140
I mean "Now DL140 start OS correctly, but when I insert 2-nd disk to it's raid-1 it's NOT switching to rebuilding."
