Output of hplog -t is not consistent between sensors
I am setting up a Monitorix system with "hptemp" module.
The output of hplog -t is not consistent, there is a shift in the white space and it is faulting the hptemp logging totally in the Monitorix.
http://pastebin.com/k2giCm9J
If I remove the shifted lines (4,5,6,7) from the graphing, then everything is working.
You can see that the sensors 4..9 have shifted one whitespace to the left.
This is causing an error in monitorix.log:
Fri Feb 20 13:32:00 2015 - ERROR: while updating /var/lib/monitorix/hptemp.rrd: /var/lib/monitorix/hptemp.rrd: conversion of '33C' to float not complete: tail 'C'
$ rpm -qa | grep hp- | grep -v php

I would like to graph the memory temperatures of my Proliant DL380p Gen8.

Re: Output of hplog -t is not consistent between sensors
As hplog is probably working as designed, my first thought would be Monitorix needs to be modified to handle the whitespace

Yes, that is one way to fix it by using regex or something in Monitorix.
However, the output lines for only those few sensors differ for some unknown reason. I know it is a small issue to nit-pick about but for a perfectionist like me, it reflects the quality of the software. :)
Btw. it would be nice to have a JSON/XML output from hplog for easily interfacing with other software.
ps. Is this the right way to contact about these HP software issues/improvements? Firing a support case seems like overkill?
