P400 RAID controller - 256MB vs. 512MB cache - worth the upgrade?
Am setting up an older ML350 G5 server to run VMWare ESXi 5 and was wondering whether it is worth it to upgrade the cache from 256 to 512MB? Thanks.

Re: P400 RAID controller - 256MB vs. 512MB cache - worth the upgrade?
It depends why you are looking for a upgrade , if their is large amount of data always being read/write to/from the drives it is worth upgrading, you may know that the data will be first written to the cache and then it goes to the drive
