P420 and RAID-5 with 2 Disks

Was wondering if it is possible to setup a RAID-5 with two disks (i.e. degraded mode), copy data to it and then extend with two additional disks?

The P420 has the cache module so that is not the problem.

Hi,

I don't know a way to create a "Degraded Array".

You can Create the R5 and then remove one Disk or create a Raid 1 and later migrate to R5 if the Cache Module also has a Battery.

Hello,

Minimum 3 hard disks require for raid 5.

Please follow the below documents for more clarification.
