"Enter a maximum page file size that is greater than or equal to the initial page file size, and less than 4096 MB"
So why is there a limit of 4096 MB and why does windows recommend more than this and then error out?

Solutionhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;283037
....The program is not aware that any of the memory that it uses resides in the range greater than 4 GB, just as a program is not aware that the memory it has requested is actually in the page file ....

Re: Paging File - DL380 G4
Also the one thing that concerns me is that the article talks about 4GB "physical memory"
I only have 3GB physical and the rest virtual?!?

Re: Paging File - DL380 G4
What I believe you have to tell to system to use space more that 4GB as by default O/S see only 4096 and equally Page file canâ t be set more than that.
From boot.ini file set /PAE and remove /3GB
what else could be
