PCI-e x16 video card on ML110 G3 Server
Hi,
I have got an HP ML110 G3 server, and i would like to plug a NVidia GForce 6600GTS video card on my PCI-e x16 port. I have already install my video card, and it is working with the last good drivers. But when i lunch a hard test, the video card is detected as an x1 pci-e card and not a x16 card.
I would like to know, how activate the pic-e x16 function?
Thank.

Re: PCI-e x16 video card on ML110 G3 Server
I am afraid there is no such option... This server doesnot support any other videocards except the built-in one.

Re: PCI-e x16 video card on ML110 G3 Server
Leaving aside the fact that video cards are not supported on Proliant servers, the PCI-E on ML110 G3 is x8 internally, this is a limitation of the chipset and not a feature that can be switched on or off.

Ok, then can i at least set up the mother board to switch the video card in x8 mode?
