Performace difference

Hello,

we want to buy a new Sever and we consider between DV380R06 E5520 Quad Core + 1x CPU Kit Xeon E5520 2.26 QC 8MB (2.26 GHz) and
DL380R06 2xX5550-2.66 (with the usually same equipment.) On the server should run Oracle 11 + Appl. , with many disk accesses. Our Sever supplier says of the X5550 is a little bit faster. But what is called "a little bit faster"?
Does somebody have experience with these both servers and can recommend to me one?
