Physical to ProLiant Migration

I've been reading all the documentation on the HP Server Migration Pack - Physical to ProLiant. The docs say that the the P2P does not modify the source server but I was wondering if anyone can vouch for it - does the source server really stay in tact? So if I'm not comfortable with the way it transfers, I can revert back to the old server?

Nothing is installed on the source server. A program is run on the source server to enable the process, but the hard disk/OS never has anything installed on it. After the final shutdown, the source server is left completely untouched.
