PING: Transmit Failed, Error Code 1450

PING: Transmit Failed, Error Code 1450

Has anyone run across the error message in the subject line while pinging from the DL360 to another machine. The server has the NC6132 Fiber card teamed to failover to an NC3163 copper port. Pinging from another machine to the server results in normal replies. Thanks for any hints as to where to begin looking.

I have the same on a DL320 which uses the same NC3163 built in NICs. I don't have a fiber card but I do have lod balancing and the same problem. This should at least suggest it has nothing to do with your Fiber card.

I have got it working now by changing the teaming from using mac address to TCP/IP.
