I have a proliant 1600 that runs linux mandrake ver 8 and very time I reboot when the proliant starts it asks me to press f1 to continue or f10 key for system partition utilities . how can I make the proliant reboot without asking me any qustion and without formatting it.
Please help me.

You can go in the f10 partition (if you have it) or boot from the systems configuration floppies and then go hit the ctrl-a to get teh advanced settings. Then you go System configuration, and Configure hardware. This detects all hardware, and then go on review or modify settings, and step 3 to view or modify changes. In this screen you will have a section called advanced options, you will be able to disable the f1 (or f10) prompt at post.
