Hi,
We have recently decided to put in a DLT-V4 SATA tape drive into our ML350 G4, however, the drive is not recognised or found on either SATA interface. Is this drive not compatible, needs drivers, ???
Regards, Gareth.

Solution
please have a look on the supported options
WorldWide QuickSpecs - HP ProLiant ML350 Generation 4p http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12199_div/12199_div.HTML
WorldWide QuickSpecs - HP ProLiant ML350 Generation 4 (G4)

Which kind of Serfvermodell do u use? If u're using ML350G04p SCSI Version, the embedded SATA Controller is deactivated!
May u should also contact Quantum and ask for supported Controllers, other way is to buy an HP Solution or an SCSI Modell.
