Problem! Server ML350e gen8 08-HD Max sensor failed!
New server. Installed on the server windows SBS2011 essentials. 2 HDD in raid 1. There is not any PCI or PCIE cards. FAN speed 100%. TURBO Noise.
Is responsible for what this sensor? where it is physically located?

Re: Problem! Server ML350e gen8 08-HD Max sensor failed!
the new P420 firmware will clock down the raid controller cpu with 8 drives or less to solve the heat issue. Performance will drop down of course.
Make sure all drive blanks are filled.
P420 runs too hot due to insufficient airflow and poor heatsink/thermal paste.
