Problem with DL320 G3 SATA RAID and SLES9 SP2

Hello,

i want to install a DL320 G3 (with embedded SATA RAID) with SLES9 SP2. I have enabled and configured RAID 1.

Now the problem: during the installation i can see both Harddisks. And i can create filesystem on the second harddisk. Normaly I can see only one harddisk!? The driver for SATA Raid does not work!! It has destroyed my SLES 9 installation.

I think the SATA embedded RAID is not a real hardware RAID?!

Can somebody help me?

Hi Daniel Heinrich,

I thing in this model,there is no embeded RAID controller,if you want Ext.RAID controller to be purchased.otherwise OS-level Mirror can be possible.
