Processor Correctable error threshold passed
This is a brand new server.. the OS was loaded and left to burn in prep for a netware migration. The only software ever installed was Veritas Crackup exec er.. Backup Exec ; } . .. Yes it was patched with the updates. A few weeks ago we started getting this gem of a message "Processor Correctable error threshold passed". I Updated the firmware and OS. The little annoying processor light in the front panel shines like a laser on a hemaroid.. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.. : }

Re: Processor Correctable error threshold passed
Hi, you might want to run a diagnostic on the processor itself.

Re: Processor Correctable error threshold passed
c-boileau ..
Thanks for the suggestion.. but yes.. we have executed both ( Windows & Dos ). The processor passes these test.. one in windows the errors begin and even with the event triggered as an error the compaq windows diags flags them as passes.. kinda make you think .. anyway.. the compaq field techs should be on there way by tomorrow. I will post an update : }
Peace.

Re: Processor Correctable error threshold passed
Update: 12-07-02
Compaq Tech arrived on-site .. Replaced the processor and processor power module. It is exactly twenty four hours since replacement and all seems well. Dropped Veritas Backup exec and ran a Netware full System Backup.. fingers remain crossed..
