Proliant 1600 Smart Array 221

Hi:
I am planning to install Win2K server on my Proliant 1600, 550 Mhz server. The Storage controller is Smart Array 221. In Compaq website, the driver that is listed under the proliant 1600 storage controller is Smart Array 2. I would like to know whether Smart Array 2 is same as Smart Array 221. Thanks in Advance.

The 221 is a "Smart 2" Array Controller, but this controller doesn't use the "Smart Array 2" (cpqarry2.sys) driver. This one uses the drive array driver (cpqarray.sys).
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
