Proliant 1850 or DL380 G1 Hard Drive

Has anyone tried using a 72.8GB HD in the 1850 or DL380 G1 servers? The original specs list only as much space as a full chassis with 36.4GB drives would hold, yet these specs were made before the 72.8GB HDs came out.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks,
Greg

We use 72 Gb drives on ML370 G1 servers (in production) without any problems (you DL380 G1 is same generation server)
In our lab we use 140 Gb drives on Proliant 1600 without any problems as well (I think Proliant 1600 is younger brother of Proliant 1850R)
I am pretty sure you can use even 300 GB SCSI drives on these servers.
Servers specifications just not updated.

BTW, 72 Gb drives listed as supported for DL380 G1

Also, I think it is clearly for you:
if you buy modern U320 SCSI drive it will work as Ultra3 or Ultra2 on old servers.
