Proliant 1850R w/Smart Array 3200
I am trying to set up this 1850R, to utilize the 3 9.1GB Ultra2 SCSI drives outside of the existing array. Drive "0" to be system (Win2000 Small Business Server) and Exchange Server, with drives "1" & "2" mirrored for critical data redundancy. (As per customer request) I can only get the drives to appear as one drive though. Is what I am trying to do possible? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Re: Proliant 1850R w/Smart Array 3200
For that don't use the Smart Array 3200 controller. Remove it and plug the SCSI cable into the system board SCSI connector. Install SBS on the first drive, once it is up, use the W2k disk management utility to mirror the other two drives and set them up as your D: drive for data usage.

Re: Proliant 1850R w/Smart Array 3200
It sounds like you have an existing array of 3? RAID5? And you want to reconfigure to 1 RAID0 with drive 0 and A Mirror Array for drives 1 and 2.
If there is an existing you will need to clear the config and create a new config
