proliant 3000 w/Smart array 3200
I keep having problems with new hot swappable drives failing on post after inserting them, I have update the 3200 firmware to 4.5, has anyone seen this before is there a fix?

Re: proliant 3000 w/Smart array 3200
James,
Download and apply the M+P patch from the following link. (Details are given for its use at the link)
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/10468.html
This creates a bootable floppy which will apply the M+P patch to all installed drives and elimate any falsely detected errors. It doesn't remove any functionality and was simply created to eliminate false errors when the drives are in fact OK. You also need to run it whenever a new drive is installed.
I hope this helps,
Brian
