Proliant 3000 with NC6132 Fibre NIC
I have a Proliant3000 running NetWare 6 sp2a- dual PIII 500 mhz processors 1.5gb RAM. I also have an NC6132 nic in this server. I can see light from the switch to the server. Likewise, the server sees the link. The transmit side of the server NC6132 does not seem to be transmitting. I have cleaned the contacts, reinitialized system. The latest NIC drivers have been applied and the server rebooted PRIOR to configuring the NIC. Both sides of the fibre cable are good - when flipped, I see the switch transmitting through either cable. Short of rebooting the server, any other suggestions?

Re: Proliant 3000 with NC6132 Fibre NIC
I should add that at the server console I can ping the ip address assigned to the fibre module and I do have link lights on the NIC. It is connected to the LAN via 3Com switch. The 3Com switch states that the link is disabled.
