From the report you need to update the bios on the system as well as on the controler. Click here and update these:

I am not using smartstart. Also a compaq technical support representative said that the card was bad from the report. Is there anything that I should worry about when updating? Do I need to do it in steps or can I just go right to the latest one?

Aaron,
I would also be prepared to update the firmware on the hard drives. When you update the firmware on the array controller,you will get messages typically indicating they recommend that you update the code and the scsi id of the offending hard disk. They will function w/out the update,but you will be inclined to get rid of another pesky message.
