Proliant 360L Gen 8 Raid Controller Failure
Greetings Guys,
I have a Proliant 360 with a dead RAID controller. Part# HP-4K1465. There is a battery connected to it that is reading less than 4 volts; about 3.7 volts. Will the lack of voltage cause the card to fail?
Thank you,
Quaz

Re: Proliant 360L Gen 8 Raid Controller Failure
Hi @quazimotto ,
Battery will hold the data in cache. I assume, battery failure will not cause a controller failure. It may leads to maximum possibility of the data corruption.
What you can do ?
1) Update all the devices firmware using Service pack for ProLiant.
2) Diagnose the RAID controller by using HPSSA by pressing F10 while booting.
