Proliant 5500 and CPU bus parity error
I have been using a proliant 5500 Xeon 400Mhz with NW 5.1 and arcserve 7 for nw for some time now until last week I got the error "CPU bus parity error" when I try to load astart.ncf. Since then I am not able to use the backup SW becuase the server abends or it just jumps to the screen CPU bus parity error.
ANy Ideas?

Hi Titus;
It would be good to know whether this error occurs somewhere else besides in the software.
Do you see anything related to it when you run CPQIML? Is there any associated error at post when you reboot the machine?
Did you change anything on the server that might be related to the error?
These tools can provide good clues as to what's going on with your server.
