Proliant 6000 Interlock failure

Hi, i have posted this many times, but i do not find the solution. I have a proliant 6000, and i have tested all the trheats i have read, and nothing can fixed.

Can i test the server only conecting the memory, the Power supply, the Peripherical board, the memories bracket and the processors (i have 2, but i am testing only 1). Would be the possibility some hardware is damaged?, i have checked the processor board, the I/O board, the Backplane, and nothing. Can someone explainme again whats the problem and how to fixed? please... i know somebody can help me... thanks.

Hi,

Please check with both the processos one by one where i am suspecting the problem with the processor. Whech with IML Logs and the daignostics tools is it refer to some more details.

Do you have terminator boards installed on all processor positions where no processor is installed?
Are both memory expansion boards installed?

In another forum entry you are mentioning that "maintenance" has been done before the error occurred. What exactly has been done during that "maintenance"

Well, the person who did the maintance says only aspiring the cabinet, and that's all. But then, i figured out the Server was not assamblied in a correct way, we do not know if it was working. Before doing the Maintance, it was turned off, and still did after maintance, but, 1 week later, i went to turn it on... and nothing... Yesterday, i was following the instructions both left me, and i dismounted all... all the cards, all the fans... the backplane, the powersupplies, the processors, the terminal boards... ( i saw something was wrong, i check the processor, the card below the processor, and the terminal board, this was uncorrectly set. I was trying to connect it, in the wrong side, but i corrected the position) I connected 1 by one, without the disks, the CD ROMS, DAT, and Floppie, and tested with 1 processor, with 2 processors, combinations of the first terminal board, with the second procesor, and a many possible combinations. There are 3 leds,in the I/O BOARD. One, the system interlock (in red, but i guess it means in ambar color) the processor board led (also in red or ambar) and another one, between both and the color is green. I have checked also the STP board, the backplane, the processor board and the I/O Board. It doesnt turn on... i hope you can help me...

i cannot also run the diagnostic tools, it doesn´t not turn on.

If both interlock leds are on check following:

· Processor Terminator Board(s) fully seated in
processor sockets
· Processor(s) fully seated
· Both Memory Boards fully seated
· Air sensor cable (black 4-wire) plugged into
processor (Host) board (E21)
· IO board fully seated on Host board
· 20pin Processor board power cable connected
to J17 and Power Backplane board (J6).
· 12pin Processor board power cable connected
to J16 and Power Backplane board.
Make sure there are no empty processor slots, terminator board where no processor is placed.
Put quite a bit of pressure on the i/o board where it makes a connection with the processor board to make sure they both make good contact.
