Proliant 800 - System Failure, Timer Test Failed?

Hi all:

I have a Proliant 800 that is spontaneously rebooting, and then sticking at the startup screen with this error. I can shut off the server, turn it back on, and then everything is alright for up to a week, then it does this all again. What is up with this server? It started happening after I upgraded going from a dual PII 400 to a single 450. I have the DIP set for the 450, but still this. Any ideas?

Hello David,
Have you tried putting back the original CPUs and see if the system becomes stable?? If it does then surely there is a problem with the CPU.
