Proliant 8000 slow internal disk write speed

What is the expected maximum disk write speed with a Proliant 8000 and the 4250ES controller? I have 14 36GB Ultra3 drives in a RAID10 array and I'm only able to get about 10MB/S no matter what I try. This seems awfully low.

All the drives installed in this system are either Ultra2 or Ultra3.
