ProLiant DL 380 G4 8GB Kits
I am currently in the process of upgrading my DL380 G4 to 12 GBs and would like to achieve this by installing
1 8GB Kit (2x4GBs - Dual Rank)
1 4GB Kit (2x2GBs - Dual Rank)
has anyone tried to install memory modules this large?
I also talked to a customer support representative and he "informed" me that with a bios update the DL 80 G4 can support a max of 16GBs of memory but I cannot find ANY documentation that supports this claim.
Thanks Everyone!

Re: ProLiant DL 380 G4 8GB Kits
Use Bank A and Bank B only because they support the Dual Rank. Your combination works.
